Managing diabetes requires constant attention — monitoring glucose levels, interpreting trends, and making decisions that affect your health. For many people, this responsibility never stops.

Guardian aims to reduce that burden by providing tools that help people better understand their glucose data and respond more confidently to changes in their condition.

Our goal is to build technology that allows people living with diabetes to spend less time worrying about their numbers and more time focusing on their lives.

Dexcom Integration

Guardian securely connects to your Dexcom account to retrieve real-time glucose readings. These readings are used to generate charts, trend analysis, and insights that help users better understand their glucose patterns.

Glucose Analysis

Guardian analyzes recent glucose readings to identify trends, rate-of-change, and potential risk situations. This helps users quickly recognize when glucose levels may be rising or falling more rapidly than normal.

Predictive Modeling

Using trend analysis and predictive algorithms, Guardian can estimate possible future glucose changes based on recent data. These predictions are designed to help users anticipate potential changes before they happen.

Robotic Companion System

Guardian also includes a robotic companion system designed to provide awareness and physical feedback for glucose urgency events. The GUARD device connects to the Guardian platform and can respond to important glucose conditions.

Getting Started

Connecting Dexcom

To begin using Guardian, log in using your Dexcom username and password. Once connected, Guardian will retrieve your glucose data and display it on the dashboard.

Viewing Your Glucose Data

Your dashboard shows recent glucose readings and trends from your Dexcom account. Charts display recent glucose values and can be zoomed for more detailed viewing.

Robot Setup

Step 1 – Turn on the GUARD device

Power on your GUARD device. It will broadcast a setup Wi-Fi network.

Step 2 – Connect to GUARD-SETUP

Open your phone’s Wi-Fi settings and connect to the network named GUARD-SETUP. A setup window will appear where you can enter your local Wi-Fi credentials.

Step 3 – Complete Setup

Once the device connects to your Wi-Fi network, return to the Guardian dashboard to begin using the system.

Troubleshooting

Dexcom login not working

Make sure your Dexcom username, password, and region are correct. If the problem persists, try logging out and logging back in.

No glucose data appearing

If no glucose data appears, check that your Dexcom sensor is active and that your account connection is still valid.

Robot connection issues

If your GUARD device is not connecting, restart the device and repeat the setup process.

Millions of people around the world — especially children, the elderly, and those with disabilities — carry the burden of managing their condition 24 hours a day.

Guardian aims to reduce that burden by creating technology that helps people manage their condition more easily so they can spend less time worrying about diabetes and more time living their lives.

Who We Are

Guardian was founded by Bradley Williams, an -year-old high school student who was diagnosed with diabetes on September 3, 2024.

After experiencing firsthand the daily responsibility of monitoring blood sugar and managing the condition, Bradley set out to build a system that could help make diabetes management easier for others.

What began as a personal project quickly became Guardian — a mission to create tools that reduce stress and improve the daily lives of people living with diabetes.
